Fusion is a unique jewelry style I created in 9/8/2011. It's where I fuse two entities together that would normally never be considered as part of a single design.

Hand sculpted sea fan coral with two starfish arms curled up and around in search of jewels.

Aquamarine is a member of the Beryl family and it's name in Latin means: "water of the sea". and was once referred to as "the sailors stone".

The base of the ring represents sea fan coral and the two starfish arms.

Materials: Shown in 14k Yellow Gold but available in solid 14k White, Rose and Yellow Gold as well as 18k Yellow and White Gold. Platinum is available, please message us for a quote.

I have a new toy!

New Tip for my Kerr Waxer II

Just completed a huge job so I decided to treat myself to a new toy! It's still pretty shiney, haven't had a chance to use it but it's going to help clean out the wax from the back of my cuffs. I'm hoping to find the perfect temperature for scraping the wax out. If too hot, it will just melt through to the front of the cuff but the Shell Cuff has been a labor of love. When you're matching the  design in the shell, you have to get as accurate with the design as possible...you don't want someone saying, What Is It?

Once cast in silver...it's going to be awesome, totally unique!

Personally, I think this is some of my best work!

It was absolutely a joy to sculpt this little guy and have never had so many request to resculpt a piece. This is a one-of-a-kind ring but I do plan on resculpting him with a smaller pearl.

I'm pretty sure this little guy was posing for the camera. That one little tentacle standing up with a flip at the end is just a tease but I also love the second photo showing the side of the ring...that's just cool. I really love sculpting starfish rings, I feel they come alive when I start roughing out my wax...the personality starts coming out immediately. I laugh when I see my Starfish creations...I'm a grandmother and yet, I think starfish tentacles are cool!

Also, because I make jewelry that is a bit weighty, I can make good adjustable rings...so to change the size you'll need to put a little finger muscle into it. So please add your ring size (close as possible) and I will size your ring prior to shipping.

This is a pretty awesome piece because when I sculpted the wax, I really tried to get the depth and the texture into the fan coral plus a little sculpted Starfish just laying on the coral.

I love texture on jewelry, this is why I choose to be a lost wax artist...the wax allows me to mimic what nature gives me before I cast my jewelry.

My wife likes Dolphins...Finished!

My not so great picture of the completed Dolphins.  I'm usually trying to get them out the door so that my customers can see their new jewelry but hopefully you can see the detail.


Mike also sent me a photo of his wife wearing the dolphins on her omega. I was so pleased to see how the two dolphins layed, it was better than I imaged...to me it makes an elegant statement.

Mike wrote me and told me his wife is very pleased

with the slide and wears it a lot!

This is where we get to play a bit...because I sculpted each dolphin separetely...I get to arrange them and visually show Mike some of his options for placing the dolphins before we cast them. And if your wondering which one we picked...we both picked #1

We met Mike in Virginia during the Neptune Show and he e-mailed me later asking for some Slider suggestion...well after a few ideas and sketches back in forth, he said, "My wife likes Dolphins".  I use to feel nervous about going out of my comfort zone but lately I've just jumped in and started sculpting, because now my real challenge is making sure that when his wife looks at her new playful dolphins, she just smiles.

So to my suprise...I can sculpt a Dolphin.

Mike's Dolphin Slider will be a one of a kind but due to my slip-up, I will be sculpting another pair

to fit a 4-6mm Omega.

This ring exhibits the natural features of a 12mm South Sea Pearl wrapped up in a very daring contemporary design with Sterling Silver Fan Coral and 14K gold starfish accent.
