Our very own model...

My daughter-in-law, Sandra Simms has graciously accepted my request to
model some of my jewelry so that you can see how they look on a person,
with a dress etc. Sandra is about 5'6", slim and beautiful blue eyes.

Here she is wearing a Fan Coral Necklace from my
Ocean Reef Collection. It's Sterling Silver, Solid 14k gold and three
small accent diamonds.

Here is a perfect example of what I wanted to accomplish having
Sandra wear my jewelry. This Starfish cuff fits a medium wrist which Sandra has.

...another perfect example, Sandra wears a size 7 ring and
although she doesn't have short fingers, she doesn't have
extra long either.

I have 43 photographs showing different pieces and I have left every photo in full size format so that you can see the detail of the jewelry. Check out our "Model Jewelry" Page to see additional model shots.

Starfish and Fan Coral Cuff - Updated

Just finished the sculpting on the Starfish & Fan Coral Cuff.
The starfish is going to be 18k gold (heavy plated) and the
Fan Coral is going to be Sterling Silver.

This piece can be pre-ordered from our Etsy Shop.

Starfish and Fan Coral Cuff

Wow, talk about still being in the rough on this one, three days of work
and it still looks like this. Oh well, my family has given it a two thumbs up so
in a couple of day (Monday or Tuesday) I'll follow up on some new updated photos.

New One-of-a-Kind December Special

New
One-of-a-Kind
pieces

I will be introducing several new pieces in our Kudzu & Bamboo line that are one-of-a-kind pieces. I have sculpted (between jobs) so far 2 new kudzu rings which will match the small kudzu cuff design and these two bamboo pieces shown, Wide Bamboo Ring plus the Bamboo Necklace. (still working on the necklace)

These will be sculpted, cast, polished and sold. If you are interested in one of these pieces...please e-mail me asap at dawnvertrees@gmail.com for availability and pricing.

The options for materials will be Sterling Silver, 18k plated, or solid 14k/18k gold, your choice if chosen before they are cast.

Look for additional pieces I'll be sculpting over the next 3 days.

I will make an Ocean Reef piece as a one-of-a-kind on request, again, just e-mail me.

Thanks again,
Dawn

These are just great everyday Bamboo Rings.
Rings are available in my Etsy Shop

Two new Bamboo Bands, very simple but has all the
detail that a bamboo ring should have. The one on the left is more contemporay
whereas the one on the right is your traditional bamboo wrap.

Completed! These turned out adorable, I must take some time to make more of these.
Rings will be available Dec. 2 on our Etsy Site.

If you like my small kudzu cuff...these cute little rings are the matching pieces,
especially the one on the left. The Kudzu band on the right is a little chunkier...but
they both look as if you went out into the woods and wrapped a twig around your finger.
These will be two tone, twig in Sterling Silver and the leaves in 14 gold or 18k gold plated.

OK...this is just cool. Definitely will be making a complete set.

OK, my thinking sort of took a detour somewhere else in my brain but once I put this on (in wax),
it was way too cool. If you like long rings like I do...this is it. This one will have to be
cast and re-photographed asap...because it's just too cool. Katie??? Are you seeing this one?

As soon as I get in, I turn my music on (103.7 Country),
turn on the waxer, and head to my computer...life is good when I get to sculpt.

Bamboo Dream Cuff

I'm going to call this my Dream Cuff because in one
split second while asleep, I saw this design flash by.
So while at our show in Gainesville, FL the next morning, I quickly sketched it out.

I threw it out there while talking to some of my customers and got a thumbs up
on the concept. So, this is where I'm at, if I can design this without being a weapon on
your arm, then it's a go...more later.

Fan Coral texture flowing together.

New Bamboo Ring

The EDGE Bamboo Ring with
sculpted bamboo leaves

I'm not going to be shy about this ring...I love it.

I sculpted a graduated bamboo base and then added three little bamboo leaves to each section of the bamboo. The "Edge" comes from where the wide bamboo starts and the small bamboo begins. This is not a lightweight ring but I've sculpted a well made ring and I think at a great price too. You can check this out at my new Etsy Store, just click on the Etsy Store Logo.

My wife likes Dolphins...Finished!

My not so great picture of the completed Dolphins.  I'm usually trying to get them out the door so that my customers can see their new jewelry but hopefully you can see the detail.

Mike also sent me a photo of his wife wearing the dolphins on her omega. I was so pleased to see how the two dolphins layed, it was better than I imaged...to me it makes an elegant statement.
Mike wrote me and told me his wife is very pleased
with the slide and wears it a lot!

This is where we get to play a bit...because I sculpted each dolphin separetely...I get to arrange them and visually show Mike some of his options for placing the dolphins before we cast them. And if your wondering which one we picked...we both picked #1

Choice #1
Choice #2
Choice #3

Their Close Up Shop
The machanicals come next...fitting these two on a
10mm Omega and still look real!

My Inspiration Photo

“playfully in love”

We met Mike in Virginia during the Neptune Show and he e-mailed me later asking for some Slider suggestion...well after a few ideas and sketches back in forth, he said, "My wife likes Dolphins".  I use to feel nervous about going out of my comfort zone but lately I've just jumped in and started sculpting, because now my real challenge is making sure that when his wife looks at her new playful dolphins, she just smiles.

So to my suprise...I can sculpt a Dolphin.

Mike's Dolphin Slider will be a one of a kind but due to my slip-up, I will be sculpting another pair
to fit a 4-6mm Omega.

Hermit Crab Necklace

"Herman"

Is it too creepy?

I know...I'm adorable.

This is what happens when your husband shows you an
adorable Hermit Crab with personality...

...I mean, look at this face, who could not resist
sculpting a cute little fella like this?
