Herkimer Diamonds are beautiful double-terminated quartz crystals found in Herkimer, New York. Incredibly, these phenomenal gemstones are close to five hundred million years old. The crystals are magnificent works of nature, found in the rock, having a diamond-like geometrical shape. Thus, the name recognition of “Herkimer Diamonds”.

There is something inside me that appreciates the details found in nature. Whether its in the shape of the leaves and how they touch each other, the tree's many textures or how the limbs reach out to the sky. I see it all as something that grows with passion and has a valuable purpose in our lives. I want that exact feeling in every ring I create.

Those same thoughts go into every design I create in my studio. When I sit down at my bench, I will look at that diamond or gemstone and visualize how those limbs will hold that little jewel up in the air. I want to sculpt the branches and leaves as if its a presentation to you, so I hope you find something of mine that touches your heart as much as it has touched mine.

About the Congo Cube Diamond:

Congo cube rough diamonds originates from the Democratic Republic of Congo. They are especially well known for their square or cube shape.  The Congo cube rough diamonds are also known as Congo cubes raw diamonds and Congo cubes uncut diamonds. The shape rough diamonds are size 1 mm to almost 6 mm, sometimes bigger size is also available. The colors of the lots are often mixed, from a rare white to silver, gray, yellow, green, brown and more. 

Rough diamonds used to be the days of the past in rough diamond dangle pendants, rings, necklace, earrings, bracelets, and other vintage jewelry, but nowadays they are used in designer diamond jewelry.
