Hand Sculpted Banyan Leaf Vase
Before Jewelry, I tried my hand at throwing, the leaves I had pretty much down pat but throwing was another issue. I made around 9 vases in different sizes but by the time I finished I knew I did NOT like to throw.
I finished several pieces and some pieces are still waiting to be glazed if I could ever get around to doing that but this particular piece I tried my hand on Crackling and a Celadon Glaze and I must admit, this one turned out beautifully.
My Porcelain Vases from start to finish take around 12-16 hours to sculpt and required several firings.
