Orchid Collection - Ghost Orchid
The Ghost Orchid is one of the rarest Orchids only found in South Florida and Cuba and this particular Ghost Orchid was spotted in the swamps in Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary in Naples Florida. An orchid enthusiast took several photos and sent them to me to make a pendant for his wife from this very rare sighting.
The Pendant is14K Solid Gold with a high polish and is 2" tall by 1 1/4" wide and is an awesome design to wear. I have also set a 2mm diamond in the center which only adds to the artistic beauty of this rare orchid.
If you are a die hard orchid lover...you can surely appreciate the beauty of this orchid.

Available Cord Option (as shown in the photo): The cord has a dynamic look as well. Using a 4.5mm steel cable, a cocoon style is finely textured wrapped steel with the look and feel of spun silk; the cascade style presents a fluid look. Lobster Claw clasp is 14K yellow gold and is easy to open.

Orchid Collection - H. P. Horton Phalaenopsis
I
have chosen H. P. Horton Phalaenopsis 'Ponkan HCC/AOS Orchid not only
because of it's breakthroughs in the breeding of a true red
Phalaenopsis hybrid but... because of its elegant beauty.
We've finished this piece with a soft bead blast surface on the outer
petals and a high polish to the rear petals. I think it gives this
piece a special look that really shows off it's naturally beautiful
shape.
I
have added our Enhancer...a AOS favorite so that you can attach the
pendant to pearls as well as chains without the worry of sliding it
through the bail of an existing chain.
As
you can see in the photo above, we cast one of these pieces in 14K
yellow gold with a small diamond set in the center. What a stunning
piece of art!
This pendant can be purchased in 14K Gold as well as Sterling Silver. It can also be ordered as a pin or as a ring.

Abalone Shells don't normally create a pearl but this one did. So I sculpted coral around the pearl
which created a shadow box, so inside this colorful shell I added a 14K Starfish to add to it's mystery. This is a very rare one of a kind pendant.

Orchid Collection - Vanda
When choosing a Vanda to sculpt, I was introduced first to Dr. Martin Motes Vanda's at the Redland Orchid Show. They were beautiful, the shape of the petals and the colors were amazing but with a little more searching, I realized he had wrote a book exclusively on the Vanda's. On the front cover was the most beautiful Vanda so that was the one I sculpted.
I added an enhancer to the back of my pendant which allows you to add this pendant to your existing chains or beads.
I'm showing the larger Vanda on a 6mm Omega (sold separately).

Orchid Collection - Paphiopedilum and my little Tree Frog
Here's looking at you! I hand sculpted my little frog in 14K Rose Gold and tucked him in the small Paphiopedilum pouch...he is so adorable, you'll go awww when you see him.
Here is an interesting fact: The pouch traps insects seeking nectar, and to leave again they have to climb up past the staminode, behind which they collect or deposit pollinia...I'm thinking this is also a good place for a tiny tree frog to catch a few zzzz.

My Oncidium Orchid Spray Necklace was introduced at the Miami International Orchid Show 2009 in which it took home, First Place in it's category as well as Best of Show, needless to say I was extremely happy as well as surprised.
There are ten Oncidium orchids, along with three cluster of Oncidium Buds and several long leaves surrounding the orchids.
The wire is hand carved with leaves, buds and vines. The necklace opens up from a single hinge under the center leaf in front making the necklace easy to slip on and hooks in the back.

My Cool Little Tree Frog...Theodore!
...this little guy took over 6
months, not necessarily to sculpt but to just wrap my brain around
carving him. I've never sculpted animals, reptiles or bugs and never
planned on it but my husband insisted on this one.
I would work
on the Lil' guy for hours and then hide him away hoping that Don would
forget about him but about every few weeks he would ask, how's my frog
coming along? Eventually I was satisfied with how he was turning out.
He started taking on a personality...he definitely became a "HE", he also took on the Geico Gecko look which is kind of adorable and his name is "Theodore"
Well
needless to say, I've become very fond of the Lil guy. He's about 2.25"
legs and all plus he has a double bail to fit up to a 10mm wide Omega
chain (omega not included). He has a high polish finish on him which is
something very new to me as well but he wears the look well.
Note: This is for the tree frog pendant, he will fit on a 3mm up to a 11mm omega. (6mm shown) Omega Not Included.
